My journey to get to dentures has been well over a year now (July 2024 to September 2025 so far) so I have created a series of posts to cover it as my Sjogren’s Facebook Group has frequent questions about dentures due to the rapid decline of teeth with this autoimmune disease.
Teeth To Dentures is the first of the series and outlines for information about how I got here. I will continue with this post after I see the specialist at the end of the month.
Teeth To Dentures Part II – The challenges I faced starting with a post operative stubborn infection that led to C. Dif from being on too many antibiotics for too long, how the C. Diff refused to quit and the multiple treatments, and two separate hospitalizations.

Teeth To Dentures Diary Part IV – Coming Soon – This will be the final post in the series with hopefully pictures of the results. My denturist says that I have 3 – 4 visits left. The process is very complex because of the bar attached to the implants that then attaches to the bottom denture.
